A rejected appeal can be frustrating. It does not reveal every signal behind the decision, so avoid guessing or repeatedly submitting the same explanation without new evidence or corrections.
Official Google guidance
Google’s Misrepresentation policy asks merchants who believe a decision is wrong to submit an accurate and thorough appeal. Its issue guidance notes that review options and limits vary by issue. Follow any wait period or next-step instruction visible in your account; there is no single retry schedule that fits every case.
Reassess before another request
- Save the exact outcome message and identify any issue that remains open.
- Reopen the cited policy and map each concern to a live page, product, or business detail.
- Verify changes on the public site and in the actual feed or connected platform.
- Check for contradictions elsewhere: footer, checkout, ads, product variants, delivery settings, and customer-facing terms.
- Decide whether new factual evidence or a real correction supports another review request.
If the rejection says more information is needed, provide only that information and ensure it is accurate. If you disagree, explain the facts and evidence plainly. Do not claim that an issue was fixed until you verified it.
Industry practice and our recommendation
Ask a fresh reviewer to compare the original notice, the store as currently visible, and your planned explanation. This can identify omissions but cannot predict a platform decision. Avoid changes that conceal business information or make promises the business cannot meet.
Our suspension service reviews selected materials without account access. Continue with appeal preparation and see the FAQ.
